The peninsula stretches from the west to Constance and divides Lake Constance into Lake Überlingen with the Flower Island of Mainau and Lower Lake Constance with Reichenau Island, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Thanks to their rural setting, the suburbs are ideal starting points for cycling and walking tours. An extensive network of walking and cycling trails leads along the shores of the lake, through fields, meadows and forests across the Bodanrück peninsula to beautiful nature conservation areas like Dingelsdorfer Ried.
