Constance Theatre, the oldest theatre in Germany, has been putting on productions continuously since 1607 and is one of the most lively and innovative playhouses in the south of Germany.
The theatre stages politically aware productions across its three venues.
During the summer months, Constance’s Münsterplatz provides the historical backdrop to an annual drama as the group’s fourth venue.
The group also runs the Constance Young Theatre, which has been going for more than 25 years and stages productions suitable for children from three years of age.
